They move down close to the road during the rut, its where all the girls hang out. ;)
The things that come to those who wait, may be the things left by those who got there first!

Maybe these horns will end up at the Washington FNAWS banquet.

The horns will propably be at the FNAWS banquet, that is where most of them go. As for water and browse benind the fence there are several springs alot of available water and also plenty of browse. Seems that the ewes like it down by road this time of year, so that is where the rams go. The main reason that they cross the highway is to eat the ornamental schurbs around the houses by the river.

Did somebody call and report it to WDFW?
I may be wrong, but if that was south of the Entiat River Road that is an area not typically inhabited by the sheep.  WDFW would really like to know about that, I'm sure.

My dad just made me aware that I meant to say the area NORTH of Entiat River Road is an area not typically inhabited by the sheep.  I had that tag this year so I am very familiar with their haunts south of the road.  :)
