The person he brings needs to go to the office and sign a waiver like everyone does when you buy the permit but can't hunt in there for their tag just the disable tag unless the companion has a hancock pass also or spouse or kids under 18 i believe.

That's what we did. Went and saw Claudia at the office. Bummer of the deal was a drive from Enumclaw to find out she had the day off the first try! The companion real comes in handy with the firewood cathering. Since it is picked over so bad I can't get back to it without assistance.

Can anyone get a companion pass?  I was going to take my cousins girlfriend to Vail this weekend since he is hunting in Montana.  I have a Hancock permit, so could I take her in there if I went and got a companion pass today?
The best friend a guy could have asked for. RIP chasing pheasants in heaven Denali girl.

campanion pass is not designed to take your buddy who is to cheap to pay the $ or your little sweetheart who you need along to gut you animal. Loose your legs and get your own pass.

I would go to Montana with her and you could be her companian. And Vail....the skiers don't like to see blood on their snow.

I took her Vail this morning and got her a decent 2-point, so it all worked out. My wife, who is 6 months pregnant, now wants to go out in the morning after she passed on going this morning. So I guess we will probably hit Kapowsin in the morning and try to get her a last day buck.
