Can't wait!
"One does not hunt in order to kill; on the contrary, one kills in order to have hunted..If one were to present the sportsman with the death of the animal as a gift he would refuse it. What he is after is having to win it, to conquer the surly brute through his own effort and skill with all the extras that this carries with it: the immersion in the countryside, the healthfulness of the exercise, the distraction from his job." Don't worry if you can't find a teammate.  Last year I signed up as a "loose cannon" and got teamed up with EZJEEP.  Had a blast!

Good luck finding a big enough piece of coyote to put the block into!  :chuckle:

Last year two teams tied for 1st with 7 dogs a piece. It was blowing about 30mph and it was late in the season. This year we hope to see more dogs hauled in.

Dogs can be taken anywhere in Washington during the event.  7 kills was high last year because of the high wind.

This was not a true statement.  Dogs can not be taken "anywhere" in this contest.  This contest is limited to 5 counties in and around the tri-cities area.,  I will post the counties listed on our permit tonight.

I stand corrected--I must have been thinking of this H-W contest.  :sry:
