I am not sure but I but I have heard the male bears will kill young bears, this mother bear now only has one baby and if you look at the last picture it looks like the baby has a bite on his face.

Do you know what happened to the other cub?

Also, mother nature may be cruel, but I am more amazed at the survival stories I see from the wild. Wild animals never cease to amaze me. I am so week compared to these other animals.

:yeah:no, just that after the larger bear that came in on Aug 5th the sow only had the one.

Boars will kill the cubs to put the sows back in heat. atleast thats what i've heard.

i know we havent seen it in awhile, but to me it looks like the sun is shining on the cubs face. :dunno:
you cant eat the horns, but backstraps look like crap on my wall!!!!
