Late season ML partner?
«
on:
November 11, 2012, 10:21:43 PM »
As subject suggest, I'd like a partner, or at least someone to share camp with. I am hunting 601. I have come to know this unit pretty well, and had close calls with the bulls in the early season. I am open to pretty much any of the season. I'm free from the farm. Any one interested?

Oh come on guys! It'll be fun. It's a very low pressure late season hunt. Mostly have the place to ourselves.

If only you were archery hunting 200 miles S.E. of 601, I might take you up on it. Good luck.

Sounds awesome man. I am a 25 year old military vet that would love to go out hunting with somebody. I have never ML hunted for elk though, would definitely love a mentor and can pay you or split up the meat if I get a shot!

R9923, Pay me? What for? I won't split meat from your bull. It would be yours. Be happy to eat some strap though in camp. Undertoad, tentatively gonna try to hold out for as long as possible. If all goes as planned, wanting to get there on the opener day until ?

Yes. If I have to wait till after the giving of thanks day, it's not the end of the world. But I'm really gearing up to go the distance this season. Had great fun and plenty of close calls in the early season. Those bulls aren't going anywhere.

If you were closer I would take you out to the 550 and let you tote around the double rifle you've comented on in the classifieds...you know, to see how it fits!

I might be interested for the last three days of the season. Maybe a bit more. I was thinking 601 or 658 North River. How much access is there? Just got done modern near Naselle and Hancock has half the land locked up. If you might still be out there let me know.
