That deer the young man shot does deserve its own topic thread devoid of anything other than accolades for a beautiful animal taken. I have never even seen a deer that big.

Some of us are not fortunate and able to kill anything so we get excited at our friends success.....many learn quickly its best to share all of the in private as it turns into a pissing match on here of who has the biggest or most or...... how those who havent scored need to not speak on here....

so post up pics if you want to share or dont....not sure why every thread with a great animal gets derailed by the silliness

I agree runamuk...which is why i personally deleted all my posts from that thread. Its too good an accomplishment and the young man deserves only credit.

God Bless,

Sounds like your trying to do the right thing.

Sure am Turner. The lord would not look favorably upon me if I didnt. That young man should be on cloud 9 and I dont want to do anything to change that.

Where did they go?  They were posted last night.  I am kinda lost on this thread, can someone fill me in??

What I can gather is someone was made rude comments about a smaller buck that was taken by a new hunter?????????  I'm so confused.

I'm not confused. Gundy, though he took back those comments and may have a nice trophy room that I haven't seen pics of yet, still seems kinda douchy. Why bring down someone like that in first place grundy?  :dunno: and then start a condescending thread like this. Seems immature for a faithful middleaged accomlppished hunter like you.

actually someone made snide comments about one of the best (in my opinion) bucks ever posted on this site, he kinda dogged on a guy who helped haul it out for not killing his own big buck, then bragged on how many big bucks he had killed.....you know another case of someone posts a smoker buck and it causes a male chest pounding thumpedy thump match with rulers and name calling and insinuation related to manliness.  you know a regular day on here ;)

was gonna post up the south park clip that shows it beautifully but cannot find it right now......
