Found a new honey hole
« on: September 06, 2008, 09:11:06 AM »
My father and I went out after coyote's for the last time before I started to hunt big game. We have kill a few coyotes out of the area and noticed a lot of deer sign. While last night we saw 2 monster bucks and what looked like triplet spikes. One buck was a very large 2x4 that the forks looked to be an easy 20" long and around 24-26" spread, The other was a 4x4 that was about 24-26" spread and was very tall, I could see the tips of his horns over a sagebrush that was an easy 6'6" tall :yike: Wish it was season for me because we got with in 100yd of them and they werent scared of us the just watched as look at them and went back to feeding.

I would go too, even just for coyotes, but I am going to be helping my wife get her first deer.

Good luck on nailing one of them, Demon!
