Anyone know what happened in the Coweeman yesterday?
« on: November 26, 2012, 09:06:51 AM »
Hunted the morning hunt and was headed out the 4700 line around 11 to pack up and head home to beat the thanksgiving weekend traffic. When I got to the bridge I saw a search and rescue truck waiting and talking on his radio. On the way out the 4100 I saw 8 ambulances with lights flashing and heading up. Down the 4100 about a  mile more, I was passed by 3 sheriffs going about 30 MPH with lights flashing, then saw a grey coroners van heading up about a mile later.

Just wondering if anyone had any info. Hate to see stuff like this happen in the woods and just wonder what happened.

That's to bad!  :'( But to be honest if I had to go and lived a full life I couldn't think of a better place/way to do it!  :twocents:

Sad news, I always like to hunt in pairs just for this reason! Lot of thing can go wrong in the woods and it is nice to have someone there to at least give you some type of help in time of need.
