Daughters Archery Buck
« on: November 29, 2012, 08:45:50 PM »
My daughter and I got a few hours this morning to try and fill our archery tags.  Got into our area and got settled in.  We were only set for a few minutes when some does came running right at us.  This guy was right behind them.  He stopped at 23 yards away next to a doe and Alyssa put one right through the center of the heart.  This deer pumped blood like there was no tomorrow.  He stopped about 40 yards and fell over.  Not a big one but will eat good.  John

Good for her!  Any deer is a trophy in my book.

Awesome! The animal is a trophy...but the real trophy is the Father-Daughter time spent together.

Congratulations to her.  You have got to love time spent hunting with your kids.
