Gov Gregoire as Secretary of Interior????
« on: November 30, 2012, 05:44:14 PM »
http://www.king5.com/news/politics/Gregoire-Dicks-top-list-for-Interior-Secretary-181589101.html

Saw this and thought I'd pass it on.  Not sure what to think about this yet....  This would put her in charge of the federal lands BLM, BIA, NPS, USFWS.  So even by leaving as governor, she could still make things rough for hunting season.  Another article said Dicks is declining.

yep shes just like a stray cat you fed once, now it never goes away just hangs around being annoying and causing problems. but on a slightly happier note she wouldnt have any say in USFS as they are under the Dept. of Ag.

I doubt it.  The worst thing would be someone from the other side of the aisle that wants to sell of federal lands to pay off national debt.  The Secretary of Interior has about zero impact on hunting seasons.

"When my bow falls, so shall the world. When me heart ceases to pump blood to my body, it will all come crashing down. As a hunter, we are bound by duty, nay, bound by our very soul to this world. When a hunter dies we feel it, we sense it, and the world trembles with sorrow. When I die, so shall the world, from the shock of loosing such a great part of ones soul." Ezekiel, Okeanos Hunter

As Secretary of the Interior she would have authority over the USFWS which administers the endangered species act and the BLM which administers access to millions of acres of public lands. I can't see anything good about her being appointed to that position.

I think it is genius!  What better way to hide the fact you are an incompetent boob than to surround yourself with people who are even less qualified and are larger incompetent boobs than yourself.  It's worked so far with Geithner and Holder hasn't it?  What investigative reporters that are left are so busy tracking stories of those nimrods that they forget how Obama didn't have the qualificatiosn to manage a McDonalds let alone become president.  Throw in a Nancy Pelosi and a Harry Reid and you look like the smartest man on the block.  It's genius I tell ya...Genius!
He asked, Do you ever give a short simple answer?  I replied, "Nope."

I'm certainly not saying she excites me as a potential candidate, but she doesn't scare me like some others would.
