taneum request...
« on: September 10, 2008, 07:19:19 PM »
im looking for someone who will be hunting aroun teanum creek road this weekend to pick me up and drop me off a few miles back in the hills. sence i only have a LOW civic i cant take it up into the area surrounding the teanum creek road.

i plan on camping along said raod friday through sunday and anyday would work if someone would be willing to do that. i dont plan on staying in the area i get dropped...but rather hunt my way back to the car.

i would just stick around the area i get dropped but having bad knees and ankles would make it a hard pack out if i did get something.

anyway pm if anyone would be interested in doing so.

thanks.

p.s. ill have the cook stove and tons of burger sitting on ice waiting to be cooked if anyone wants to stop by for dinner.

Yep, it can be done, piece of cake. After an elk is boned out it won't take up much space at all. And we know that antlers won't be a problem as it can only be a spike.  :chuckle:

i only bring a tent, sleeping bag, cook stove, and cooler. along with a bow and knife and bigt heavy duty garbage bags.

cut up the elk and stuff the sucker in the bags. i usually have the entire back seat empty that way i know i have room for the elk. my bow rides in the front seat  :chuckle:
