 When I had my late permit buck's antlers cut off the head in the back of my rig WDFW said they were going to try to get my points back for me but it never happened, I'm glad they followed through for you, very cool.

I don't want to jack the thread but yes, I think it was 02, I had the top of the skull capped in the carrier of my Excursion while dragging out the bottom half. It was not a good day, especially after waiting for years to finally get the permit.

Yep i still keep my cow permit... They restored my quality elk points. I still have a cow permit.
