I also live in Arizona and wanted to start trapping there but I have been told I cant use leg holds or body grip traps, I know where there is a *censored* load of beaver but don't want to use live traps. I am hoping WA starts letting us use padded leg holds

My understanding about AZ is that you can use footholds and conis on private ground. Public land are the only place trap restrictions apply.
I know, lot of public land in AZ, not so much private.

Yes you can use them one private land and a lot of the farms and ranches around where I live will let you trap, however you will just be catching coyotes badgers fox and maybe a cat
