Yes it is!! my lil 7RUM does just fine though  my buddy has a 338 Edge he shoots the 300 gr out of seems to shoot good but I dont care for the weight that bottom 7RUM was a 15.5# gun and would shoot .5 MOA @ 1000 I smoked a coyote right before I took the pic @ 856 yds
