Hunting tips?
« on: December 27, 2012, 12:21:45 PM »
I got my fox pro for Christmas and tomorrow i am going to eastern washington to try some coyote hunting for the first time. There is about 2 feet of snow where i am going and im going to set up on top of this hill that over looks a few miles. I have seen coyote scat there in the summer and have seen coyotes in the area. I am wondering if you guys could give me some tips like what sounds to play on my foxpro or what time i should set up just things like that sense i have never hunted coyotes before. Thanks

What model FoxPro did you get? What sounds came with it?
Start off with a mouse distress.. then try a rabbit distress...   last one before leaving , go for a pup distress.

I've been getting out about 7am for about 2-3hrs this time of year.

Good luck.
