So I take that as being entered into a drawing? did they do that last year because I don't remeber seeing that.

oh i was under the impression last year that you had to report by the 10th to be able to put in for moose, sheep, quality buck etc.. but ive been wrong before
anybody care to explain what incentive tags are? i guess ive never read that part, always just look at the seasons and rules to make sure im not screwing up
Basically you get to hunt either deer or elk from September 1st through December 31st. You can only use a weapon that is legal during the season that Is open at the time. If there is no season open then you can use any legal weapon.

any idea how many of those they hand out?
did em all, went back to do em again, and had no options of tags to report on..... so on another note, lets bump a bunch of other threads to get this one off the recent threads list? why remind people right? id like one of those eastern elk tags
You can hunt Sep 1 through Dec 31. A season does not have to be open, but if one is you must comply with the respective weapon restrictions.
Warning! Make sure you get the exact dates right that coincide with the notch you cut out on your deer tag. A friend of mine got a citation when WDFW checked his deer at the taxidermy and it was one day off from what he reported. Both dates were legal deer seasons but he just guessed when he reported instead of calling the taxidermist to check the exact dates. I was amazed at this citation. Now I see why some people just refuse to let them know you even got a deer at all. This is true, I checked out the citation in person because I didn't believe him.
