alpine lakes high hunt quick question...

is the alpine lakes high hunt in the whole unit? or just the wilderness boundry?

If you're talking about GMU 249 and Being names Alpine Lakes it is not confined to that unit. That particular Wilderness Area opens up for the high hunt with rifles, muzzleloaders on monday.

That is correct. More specifically the entire GMU 249 Alpine is wilderness area. Alpine Lakes Wilderness. Therefore it is entirely open for the high hunt with rifles next week.

Ellensburg im gonna working monday and tuesday and im still looking for someone to hunt with. my car wont make it back up that far. and ill be using my bow up there for deer just incase i run into some elk aswell.

We had that happen this year as well.  Darn mice climbed in my cousins pack and into a barely open compartment to get all the peanuts out in just a few hours.  Pretty funny on my end.
