I recently purchased a Boyds laminated thumbhole stock for my Ruger 10/22. I also purchased a .920 bull barrel from Green Mountain. Now I want to strengthen the eustachian (the metal tube that runs through the stock and houses the single screw attaching the receiver to the stock). I have good directions on how to perform this modification. What I can't find is good information on glass bedding the stock to create a precise and secure fit between the barrel, receiver, and the stock for maximum accuracy. Has anyone ever done this and do you know of good instructions anywhere?
