Next generation duck hunter
« on: December 23, 2012, 09:24:02 AM »
Two of my sons did a little duck hunting yesterday afternoon, got a few wigeons and a couple of ring-necked ducks. I was stuck with the Mrs. doing last minute Christmas shopping at WalMart - bad tradeoff for me, there are A LOT of procrastinators out there besides me. My youngest grandson seems eager to be the next hunting generation in the family. Ryder latched on to one of them and didn't want to give up his 'quack quack' (as he calls all birds).
Disappointments are inevitable, misery is optional.

Way to go. I can still remember being the "game keeper" for a few years before I started carrying a shotgun. Fond memories.
