Happy New Year Everyone!
Santa was good to me this year and gave me a new (to me) PSE Fire Flight package. I took it in to have it fitted and tuned, so now I am ready to get started.
I've been wanting to start big game hunting for a while, but could never break away from fall fishing, upland, & duck hunting. My plan is to spend the entire off season practicing, learning"the ropes", and finding a good outfitter to guide me through my first bow hunt. I chose bow hunting as my entry to big game hunting as I love the preparation and planning almost as much as the hunt.
For the first hunt, I'd love to get over the the Methow Valley, but I am pen to just about anywhere in WA, ID, & OR. I don't really care about species or trophy quality at this point. My min focus will b on building a solid foundation of skill and knowledge and then advancing into the quest for a trophy a few years down the road.
So my first request to you all is for a recommendation on an outfitter that will work with me for a quality bow hunt next year. Don't really need the lodge experience, but open to just about anything.
