after the shot.
« on: January 28, 2013, 02:24:53 PM »
How far do u move your setup after the shot or how long do u continue to call. Also how long before you work the same area.  Again.  We been doing. OK I guess.  Called in 15.  Killed 6.   But just not having any luck in areas we killed a dog in.  We. Move about. 200 to 300 yards after a kill. And nothing.   We only get some luck if we drive miles away.   Just wondering if this is typical .

I like to wait 2-3weeks before callin the same spot. In the to put about 1/4 mile between stands. I have called from the same butt print in the dirt before with success. When I do go back I try to use a diffrent sound. If u use the same sound I personally think they can relate it to when they last herd it & it went bang & they lost there buddy. If I do use the same sound, I try to wait as long as possible before I do, month, month & a half.
Take'em boys!
