Big Ram Down
« on: September 15, 2008, 10:17:18 PM »
Dad got his sheep today about 9:00 am, shot him at 210 yards, one shot kill, spent the whole rest of the day fighting the heat so we didnt get a lot of pictures but i will try and post some but im having troubles so if somebody wants i can email some to you if you wanna post them. big ram, the biologist said that it is unusually large for an umptanum sheep, and from the measurements he took i think it will easily go 160, possibly 165 or better well see he only measured horn length and bases so ill measure the whole thing tomorrow

to sum up the photos the burned up bronco happened saturday morning my dad and his friend scott were pulling scotts horse trailer up umptanum ridge and the bronco got a little to hot they got to the top of the ridge and were able to unhook the trailer but the bronco caught fire and that was the end result, you can see scotts head in the side profile pic of the ram and there are a few more of scott on horseback packing the sheep out of the hell hole he was in

Great ram.  Looks to me like it will be at least 160.  I can't wait to draw a sheep tag.
