first bow bt buck

first year bow hunting, took this 3x3, 20 yards didnt even take a step!very grateful i was in the right situation at the right time :tup: 4 weeks of cold rainy days in the woods payed off..oh yea who says the 666 unit is unlucky hahah,it sure was good to me this year

Congrats on a nice deer. Did you manage to get that deer on private property. I was up in that unit trying to scout it out for next year and it was a joke. 4 wheeler trails everywhere, trash and carcasses from domestic goats, and no sign of any deer. Did not even want to leave the truck because it just seemed like it would be broken into by the time we got back. But we did and saw nothing.just a freaky area that I went to.
Anyways good job getting it done

yes i may have left out that this buck was taken on private property i have acces to, but none the less 666 unit, and i know were your comin from i hunted alot of area before that just seemed like a waste of time, glad i was granted permission to hunt this area the last bit of late season  ;)

Be good to the land owners and help them with work if needed. You will have access for years to come. Hope someday I will have the opportunity at a nice bt buck. I just need to keep trying and maybe my next/8th season will be it. :tup:

yes sir, i always am, the fellow who granted me permision to hunt this land is a long time family friend, he was the first one i called when i let it split and watched him drop where he stood, he sounded more excited then i was! haha but he will definatly be receiving some peperoni and backstrap,maybe next year i can get his son on a buck, being a bowhunter aswell!
