Okanogan scouting
« on: September 16, 2008, 12:07:37 PM »
hey guys, I'm planning on going out scouting for some mule deer next week with my brother. We are focusing on the Pearrygin unit and have never hunted mule deer before. I have hunted the illusive blacktail in the nasty underbrush and re-prod my whole life. I've got quite a few maps and have talked to a couple of the biologist in that area who gave me some decent info. I like to hike a lot and get away from the big crowds. I was lucky enough to get a bear this year and would like to now spend as much time as I can scouting to better my odds at my first mule deer. Any information would help! Go ahead and sent me a pm if you would rather do that. Thanks
mike
