Hey guys,
Looking into glocks (9mm) for concealment and plinking around at the gun range. so, my question is, I've noticed so many flippin glock models. (17,19,20's 30's and in different gens!) Is there any Better then the other? Best for concealment would be a bonus. Thanks for any insight
This is the year im going to get drawn, i can feel it. NOT SELECTED, NOT SELECTED, NOT SELECTED, NOT SELECTED, NOT SELECTED, NOT SELECTED... damn :(

If you want 9mm you are looking at the 26, 19 and 17 models.  The 26 being the subcompact, the 19 the compact and the 17 the full size. I don't care for the baby Glocks, but the 19 is a great pistol that has a full size grip but yet still being concealable. If you are never going to carry it I would opt for the 17. You really can't go wrong with whichever model you choose though!

Take a look at the gen 4 models and compare the grips to the 3rd gen. They do feel different, some like the 3rd but others like the 4th.

That's a copy and paste from SGN. I am sadly not a Glock geek. I did own a few till they sunk when my canoe tipped over

A big gripe about the Glocks is the size of the grips. The gen 4 guns have swapable backstraps so you can change the size of the grips.

I have the model 17 and 26 for 9mm and love them.  The gen 4 model 26 is super easy to conceal!

The 19 or 23 will do you just fine for carry. With a quality holster that holds the handgun close in and at the slight forward can't. I can conceal a 22 or 17 fairly easily. Gen two's have no finger grooves on the front of the grip and no light rail. Gen threes have finger grooves and a light rail. Gen fours have finger grooves, light rail, enlarged mag release, modular grip(Back straps) and improved grip texture on the entire grip(example bottom photo) If your going to drop the coin on a new 19 per say. Might as well get a Gen four with all the bells and whistles.

Gen 3
Glock 19 (Center)

Gen 4
Glock 23

There was a desert color G21 at cabelas a week ago. Haven't been there since but it could still be there.

In Yakima???  They had a S&W MP40 in dessert but did not see a Glock.
