Bears and tics.
« on: September 17, 2008, 02:47:24 PM »
Keep forgetting to ask this question.

I shot a spring bear that was literally crawling with tics. They were everywhere. The Taxi said thats common but for some reason they hardly have any in the fall. This doesn't seem logical. Is it true?? My deer always have lots of tics in the fall. Why not bears??

I very rarely find tics on bears, but most of them have been summer/fall.
