Any lever action gunsmiths here? I need to tear down a Browning 81. The hammer is dragging on the bolt. The gun had been disassembled twice in the past. I sent off for a Black T finish and when it came back the rack and pinion was off a tooth. Sent it back and they fixed it but about 30 rounds later the hammer is not staying down and dragging on the bolt teeth. I assume it's a simple detent spring but I'm not too eager to tear into it. Anyone had the same issue?
