No information has been published yet but I fully expect 2013 to be another 100% draw for multi season deer.

I will be putting in again this year.  I'm not sure how many will be given out but even though I only shot a doe with my permit it was worth the 180$ to me just to be out in the woods hunting.

I agree completely. I'll be buying mine again and will force myself to be a little more picky!

The regs say 8500 available.  The regs pg 80 for the 2012 regs cover the 2013 multiseason since new regs come out after the multiseason app sales have occured.  The 2013 multiseason apps went on sale Dec 1, 2012 and continue through March 31, 2013.  You are a month and a half behind if you want to buy an app. :boxin: The online submission wasn't until Jan 1, 2013 if you are looking for points or permit draw.

I already applied, but wasn't  sure if that number in the book was set in stone. Thanks

I would assume that number would be good.  I didn't see anything come out before the apps went on sale saying the numbers would be reduced.  It would be awfully weasel-like to change the number after the apps went on sale.

the stats on the WDFW website stated that 7900 multi season deer permits were issued during the 2012 season and 8500 were available, so there was a 100% draw odds. I will buy one again as well, very cheap entertainment for me to be able to hunt so long of a time period.

Of the 7900 issued, I'd be curious to see how many people actually purchased them.  Does anyone know how many they actually sold?

I will apply again this year. Its well worth $6.50 to screw the state out of $187.50. For this kind of cash the ms deer rightfully should be one transport tag for each season.

Considering how much I spend on scouting/hunting every year, $180 isn't all that bad. It gives me more time in the field which is the whole idea. It also gives me more time to wait for a mature deer, not just any young one. Although I am a sucker for backstrap so a deer every season would be great.  :chuckle:

I will probably do it this year.  No out of state hunting for me next fall, so I may as well spend more days close to home.
