I know this thread has probably been tossed around before... but I am curious as to what others are getting.

Here is my set up:

Hoyt Vector Turbo, 29 1/2 " Draw, 70 lbs, Easton FMJ 340 - total arrow weight is 486.2 grains = 279 FPS & 84.2 KE

How about you?

Bear Legend
26" draw
48lbs draw
Beman ICS 500 w/ Savora 100gn broadheads weighing 340gn. total

Never chrono'd it but the calculator says 233fps and 40lbs KE

A very wise man with a lot of insight and first hand knowledge of the archery business told me that all of the arrow speed and KE is a load of bull to sell equipment.  I trust and believe this man with all things archery.  Just wanted to post my stats.  Figured they'd be the smallest numbers out of all the manly men on here :chuckle:

I'm ciurious to know how any calculator could estimate the speed of an arrow from a bow without it actually being shot. :dunno:

Got it. Of course you know that two bows with identical specs (draw weight, arrow weight, etc.) can generate different arrow speeds but that should be a pretty good starting point.
