Exact same problem a friend had with his "Jamsville"!  I decided to go with the Ruger stainless M77 in .22 Mag but I have a Marlin 25MN bolt 22 Mag I only gave a 100.00 bucks for that out shoots the Ruger.

Ive had a Ruger 10-22mag bolt action for over twenty years and still shoots dead on and is by far one of my best rifles I have. Dont know about the semi autos, but my bolt action works awesome

I built mine with an 80% reciever from these guy's

http://www.ruger1022receiver.com/MAGNUM%20Page%2011.htm

The first few magazines were sketchy, they even warn that it will take a couple hundred rounds for it to function, but now the thing runs flawlessly.

The main difference between this Razor reciever/bolt and the Ruger is Select fire uses a modified charging handle and and extra spring above the bolt where Ruger uses a tungston bolt to compensate for the extra pressure of the WMR.

I got the barrel, an aluminum sleeved tensioned Volquartsen from Midway...Cheap .  The thing is a tack drivin, coyote killin, coat preserving machine.

Never had a problem with my 10/22 Mag. For those of you who are unhappy with yours, I'm looking for another one
That's my one shot.

Magnum Research makes one that is off the Ruger design and better built.
"Shoot the spike".  It's much easier to pack out!

I have 2 of them & they function just as good if not better that my 10/22's... Solid design you just have to get through the break in on them.
