Well its seems like this year has been really slow and of course the runs are at half the average numbers but that hasn't deterred me. Went out the last couple days with my dad and the 1st day my dad had his bobber go down but didn't connect. Nothing else went on after that. On the 2nd day a couple hours in I had a take down and set the hook on him, but about 5 secs or so into the fight he either spit the hook or rolled and got off. Towards the end of the day my dad was able to connect and land this 10 lb. hen so like I said not real good fishing but at least we were able to come away with one.
