We just got back from Wintrop from the high buck and of course there are deer all over around town. We did see alot in the woods around goat crk and we went to ramsey peak and seen a few!!! Only seen 1 legal buck though. Went grouse hunting and got 4 and we fished cougar lake and only caught 3 fish between us. The deer weren't moving much because it was 90 degrees and the moon was full. Went to the bathroom at 2:30 in the morning and could have went hunting it was so bright out!!!! :)
A BAD DAY OF HUNTING BEATS A GREAT DAY OF WORK!!!

Just got back from winthrop at 4am this morning. Saw around 250 deer in 2 days. All in town, private land or the state park. Only a spike and fork spotted all weekend. Only spotted 4 deer out in the woods, all too spooky to get a shot at. I did find a winter kill 4x4 skull with 2" eye guards up in the wdfw land project area. around 20" spread. too bad. Hope you had better luck than I did.
