fuse archery strut buster
« on: January 23, 2013, 05:13:09 AM »
my question is if the fuse archery strut buster broadhead is legal? the only reason that I ask is because the archery regs stating that
"it is unlawful to hunt big game animals with a broadhead blade unless the broadhead is unbarbed and completely closed at the back end of the blade or blades by a smooth, unbroken surface starting at maximum blade width and forming a smooth line toward the feather end of the shaft and such line does not angle toward the point."
Does this rule apply to turkey as well because the turkey regs are also in the big game pamphlet?
Here is the link to the broadhead in question.

Any input would be appreciated.

I think they are legal.   I wouldn't use them they dont fly well.  I would just use your normal broadhead.

ok. thanks for the response.  would an adder be necessary behind the broadhead to keep the arrow stuck in the bird?
new to turkey hunting this being my first year giving it a shot so not sure on some of the  tricks to sticking one with the bow.
