I didn't save the originals,   let me see if I can recover them.  One of the big limitations with photoshop CS I believe.

You can save your originals with CS. CS only adjusts a copy of your original that you import into the software from your hard drive, the original is never touched.

adobe is giving away CS2 for free now.  if you're using CS, might look for the free upgrade...
