Is there anything Mr. Eberle hasn't done?  That guy is a stud.  I have been looking at buying one of their packs, but I am probably out of the market for the $899 bivy sack.  For those who do not want to watch the entire thing, check out the Eberlestock rifles near the end.

Yeah he's pretty impressive, he's pretty much done it all,  and its a nice vid of him explaining his product. The nutnfancy dude is kind of a tool, but he does do some nice product videos.

Any word on why some of them get made in Vietnam? I wish he would change that, bring more jobs to Idaho and make me not want to sell my X2.

Hello  I am wanting to know where your packs are made? I have an X2 and it says made in Vietnam on the tag, currently I am looking for a bigger pack so I have been looking at other packs of yours and have found that the tags do not say where their made, are all your packs made in Vietnam?

Their Response.

We have factories in California and Vietnam where we manufacture our products.  Most of our commercial products are made in the latter; in the backpack manufacturing industry (you will see this if you go look inside any high-end retail backpack), the best quality and reliability, bar none, comes out of Vietnam, and our operations there have allowed us to develop and manufacture some unprecedented and extraordinary products.

@bassquatch, I think since they do DOD sales, some of their stuff has to be made in the USA. As for vietnam this country with its protections of workers and unions have made most manuf. Jobs in the USA un-competitive.  I'm not saying unions and protections are bad but they just  drive up price. Case in point Tactical Tailor in Puyallup makes all their stuff, great quality but really expensive.

I was looking at eberlestocks warhammer...pretty cool looking pack. The "made in the USA" aspect makes me look elsewhere though. MR, kifaru and kuiu are a bit spendy, but horn hunter is more affordable and made in the USA. Any thoughts on their full curl?

I have a Horn Hunter Full Curl, very good pack, comfortable to wear, functional load lifters, and made in the USA.  The Horn Hunter is getting passed to my son, my new Kifaru Highcamp should be here in 2-3 weeks.
