Looking for a lightweight jacket system.
« on: September 21, 2008, 09:15:36 AM »
I am looking for a 2in1 or 3 in 1 parka, camo or blaze.  Waterproof/windproof/breathable.   Something that will not break the bank, since my spending cash is limited this year.  I have looked at cabelas, and BPS, no luck there on anything I trust from mail order.

any ideas?

Thanks

Here is what I have used the past 2 years.  Very smart design, and I am extremely happy with it.

Quiet and versatile.  I do a lot of walking in cold temps and it is excellent.  The only thing I don't like is the way the hood ties up.  You can find them for around $150.  I bought mine on the clearance rack at Sportsmans for just under a $100.
