here's one of mine:

Dick

GPR I've seen this boat, I believe.  What is the name.  Are you the skipper?

Smokepole, I don't know what the name of the sailboat is. It is always moored in the summertime in front of my Uncle's cabin on Lopez Island. :)

Maybe that's where I saw it.  I spent some time anchored in Hunter & Mud bay & out by Spencer Spit. :)

One of the greatest places to have a house!  We sailed through Lopez Pass one morning in 20 knot wind on a broad reach.  It was awesome.  Love it out there & I can't wait to get my boat up and running for some fishing & camping!  Maybe stop & visit you and Lokidog one day!

Here's a shot I took in Echo Bay back in 2005.  I love seeing the tall ships.

I had a cool experience many years ago.  I was fishing by myself off the sunken jetty out of Westport on a very foggy day.  I was in my 13 1/2 foot inflatable.  While drifting, I heard a big Boom, couldn't figure out what the heck it was.  Then, out of the fog, two sailing ships emerged firing their cannons at each other, OMG, what I would not have given for a video camera back then.  One of them was the ship I think used in the movie Master and Commander, which has since sunk.  I didn't even have a camera with me, but it will be something I remember forever.

Very cool.  We saw them shooting, but not in the same setting with fog.  That musta been cool.

My Uncle's cabin is just up the road from the Ferry Dock! :) In fact it is so cool to watch the ferries come sailing up the channel and dock. :) Especially at night! :)
