And the new pup, Ryker...just picked him up from Long Hollow Retrievers last Friday.  He turned 8 weeks Wednesday.

Here is the newest edition to the family, Cooper (GSP). We bought him for my son. His first dog that he can call his own (and he can stop claiming my GWP as his). Let the training begin.

Nice looking Pup Yellowdog.  Mine looked just like him when I picked him up a year ago.  I'm wondering if our dogs have the same parents?

They could be...my pups parents were bred once before and it was last summer.  I know Ryan bred Delta to Bindy last year at about the same time he bred Mac to Teal (Sean Bryan owns Teal and she is out of Delta and Neve). Anyway, my pup is a Mac (Long Hollows Obsidian Blue) x Teal (Long Hollow's Hop-A-Long).

Hi all, I've just become the owner of a little Wirehaired Pointing Griffon, he's only 7wks, so I won't have possession of him for another 10 days or so, but here are some photos the breeder sent me, and I couldn't resist sharing.

Great looking pup. Have a GWP and just love the beards.

Great dogs.

Beard is cute, but a pain to dig burrs out of.
Kinda like diggin'em outta my CBR back side.
Friend would bring his wire hair over here and the poor little guys eyes and mouth would almost be held shut with burrs.

Spent most of my $$ on huntin, fishin & retrievin dogs, the rest I just pretty much wasted.

I guess that's something to look forward to...😫, though I had heard that the wire hair helps to avoid them picking up burrs?
