Ronde sheep video
« on: February 03, 2013, 10:29:43 PM »
Made a trip to the Ronde for some steelhead and fishing was bad so we took a drive and found some sheep and elk...we probably saw close to 500 different animals in 2 hours..from turkeys, deer, elk and sheep..the elk herd was 230+ and video a small portion of the herd as it moved across a hill side...also u can change to HD 1080 on these if you have a fast connection

this was a big ram and a loner that we could tell the video doesnt show how big he was..he was much larger than the previous ram in vid

Cool videos.  Hope the herd can recover.  I'd like to have at least a chance to draw a tag someday before I die.

Yeah no kidding...I saw this year they are not issuing a tag in WA down there. Its not like they are giving out 10 tags down there its always been 1 tag and there are alot sheep down there...I barely go look and can turn up 15-25 sheep

Yep.  The last couple of years they had been able to up it to 2 tags, but that pneumonia was too much, I guess.  I'm hoping they don't have to do the wholesale kill off like they did in Yakima because of it.  I, too, could usually find sheep whenever I would look for them, but I think that's quickly changing.

Hey Ramslam, do you have any updates on this as of late?
