I think I'm going to switch to dinamite fishing.... I've hunted every day in the early season and every weekend in the late season for the past 5 years and have only harvested 1 elk in that time  . You guys need to give leasons or write a book for the rest of us.

I take off the whole early season to hunt with me dad who comes up from CA. My goal each year is to get him his first archery elk. We have opportunity each year and I have taken a couple bulls while trying to call for him. He has had bulls in close but small mistakes have blown them. Hopefully this year he gets one

If I do not get anything early I try and get three days or so in the late season to get a cow. I have only hit the late season three times so far but did not get my cow. I think I have a great spot now though if I need to go in the late season
