Brother got his Monatana Bull!!! Pics added
« on: September 24, 2008, 09:54:57 AM »
My brother just got back from the Bob, on a guided bugle season rifle hunt.  He got his first big bull, ever.  A nice 6x6 that is going on the wall.  Said it was some of the steepest, roughest country he has ever hunted.  4 guys out of 8 in the camp killed 6x6 bulls, all in the first 4 days.  After that it turned hot and the bulls shut up.  He is tired, but happy, and is looking forward to going again in the next couple of years.

Here are some pics.

By my honorable conduct as a hunter let me give a good example and teach new hunters principles of honor, so that each new generation can show respect for their god, other hunters and the animals, and enjoy the dignity of the hunt.

Calling an illegal alien an 'undocumented immigrant' is like calling a drug dealer an 'unlicensed pharmacist'.

Congrats to your Bro, get him to put up some pics for us to see.
I didn't say it was your fault, I said I was blaming you.
If I ageed with you, then we'd both be wrong.

I will put pics up this evening.  Not the biggest 6x6 anyone has shot, but by far and away biggest any of our group has taken.

He had a great time, made some new friends.  That said, from what he tells me it is not for the faint of heart.  Bro said that the ride in and out at times is along bluffs with 1000 ft.drops. He is a Mtn. Goat when it comes to heights and rock bluffs, and he said even he was queasy a couple of times.  Plus, they were hunting at 9,000 ft. so be in shape.
