Change your offerings and go at least 5 to 6 foot leader if sidedrifting. too short and the fish will feel you too soon! A longer leader lets em chomp a bit.

First run is dieing down. March will be your best bet as the second runs comes in.
+1, waiting impatiently for that March run myself.

i'd go atleast 10 on the leader with no more than 36 in length, red oranges and pinks work fine.
I fish 10# main and 8# leader and do well. :twocents:

 :yeah:  I drop to 8 & 6 in the summer.  I run an ultralight rod though. 
Hunting and Fishing are not matters of life or death... THEY ARE WAY MORE IMPORTANT!!!
