Actually, once I shot, I thought...man..I should call dekuma he can help pack out..but then I just bucked up. It wasnt all that bad.

Its no fun when your home hunting and I'm half way across the country broke and stuck in class. I cant wait to get home for thanksgiving. Its not going to be pretty the old lady is going to get pissed at me but hey.... its elk hunting time :chuckle:

Looks familiar, not the spot I was in last week, but not far from where you live either.

Yeah!  Been a month since I have even seen a bear, and that one I could not get a good shot on, so let it walk.  For my first year back to hunting bear after taking several years off, it sure sucks.  I was nailing one every year for a while there.  Then fishing got in the way and I have not tried to go after bear for about 6 years or more until now.

Think I am going to go roll in some bacon grease and see what happens!

Nice shot Saylean and a good lil story there. I could imagine the pump you must of been feelin as she was comin strong.

That looks exactly like the a place i have been too just off 18...To the stump!! :chuckle:

nice bear, i think I have been rolling in whatever DeKUma has been rolling in, I haven't seen a bear for over a month of going out every weekend. Good looking bear, she wasn't into chewing much i see, you could sampled those berries yourself!  :EAT:

Just as an fyi...she weighed 100lbs even, after being gutted. Took her down to the butchers today...getting roasts...burger, summer sausage...

having her half mounted....due to the white patch...that and I already have 2 rugs...
