Clear up Picture?
« on: February 12, 2013, 04:11:15 PM »
I was wondering if anyone could get the blood off of the hide on this picture? I was also wondering if yoiu could zoom it in and clear it up a bit? Thanks

Sorry, I'm not capable of helping with that, but what a buck! Any story, or more pics?

Probably going to take quite a bit to make it look right.  You can go a bit more to a B&W which can look really neat.  How much you want to spend to have it done?  A prefessional photo house could really get expensive, but they are often worth it.
Here is the cheap and easy solution...

I played with the picture a little bit. I didn't try to do anything with the blood but i think it looks a little better.

Here is a little more aggressive work.  The clock starts running if I go any further than that.  But does show with a little bit of time you could come up with quite a bit of change.  Not really sure it fully represents your trophy though.

Idaho 2011 and it was 5 degrees when I killed it.Thanks Radsav, I'd like that pic if it wasn't so grainy, How much does a professional photoshop cost? I'm supposed to be getting this buck and another mule deer back from the taxidermist soon and I wanted some pictures to go with the mount.

The larger the file you start with the better the results will be.  It's been a while since I worked with a real good photo shop.  Back then I think rates were $40.00 per hour with a 1 hour minimum.  I'd bet it's $60-80 an hour by now.

If you have a good budget I might try to find the artist that puts the King's Outdoor World re-creations together for the calanders.  That outfit does some work I just can not believe.  But I'm betting those guys are dang expensive too!!
