On his knees....arms outstretched.....chin raised high...........I'm tearing up.
He should have lots of practice at that....isnt that what he did in......... :peep:
To hunt and butcher an animal is to recognize that meat is not some abstract form of protein that springs into existence tightly wrapped in cellophane and styrofoam.

That's gonna be a bumpy ride up from Everett... what time is the armada leaving to head north to Kayak Point?  Never been there before - is there anything to anchor behind or are we anchoring in the chop?

We are going to be in shelter #8, it's next to the boat parking area. Here is a link to the park showing where it is.

We will be exposed to the chop. A lot of times it's not too bad up there. because it's somewhat protected from the wind.

That's alright - I'll bring the "big" anchor, and I've got DRock to haul it back in :chuckle:

Fishstiq - are you kayak fishing too or are you going to be fishing with DRock and me?  I'd invite you to jump in the boat in Everett if you want, but don't know how much room we'll have for all of DRock's stuff you've so generously offered to bring...

Been working on the Flounder trophy. I really want to win this bad boy.  Should have a pic up of it tomorrow.

Uh.....regarding that flounder trophy.....you prefishing? Trying to land a ringer and sneak it in? WTH buddy....I figure the flounder should be caught on the day of......not before and snuck in. What are you trying to pull? Of all the low down dirty flounder ( sounds like a move doesn't it....the dirty flounder) tricks I've heard....posting your intent to cheat on a forum for all of us to see.....disgraceful......

ps. What time were YOU thinking of heading out. I like the armada idea. I can bring D-Rock to the ramp if needed.

You caught me.  I actually have kept a halibut I caught back in April in my livewell just for this competition...  :chuckle:

Actually meant I been working on building the trophy.  It is perfect "man cave" art, if I do say so myself.  If it was a picture, I'd put it up on the fridge!

I dunno about the time.  Sounds like Mark is getting it after it early.  I'm open to any time - the later in the morning, the less likely I'll still be burping up whatever was in the growler from a few hours earlier...

I’m buying the latest round of licenses today.  This state sure can drag every dime out of ya! >:(

I’ll bring chicken for crab bait, so all I need to do is rely on someone’s generosity for a crab pot and boat ride.   :bash:

Put me down for bringing hot dogs and buns too.  I’ll also bring a camera to documentation the shenanigans.

Thanks to someone in advance.

Carl
