Loopy II or a Nikon.  I run Leupold on all but one of my hunting rifles.  You definitely want the best glass on your gun that you can afford.  If you can't see your target, you can't shoot it.

   This is probably the best option for what you want to do.  I've seen the new Redfields.  Looks like Leupold quality without the Leupold price, and well within your budget.  Check out www.natchezss.com
