Yes very good.  About all I use

Thunder bugle and the sleazy cow call were my first elk calls and they are still calling in elk to this date many years later. Great calls!

Yeah he does!!

I tried the thunder bugle, didn't care for it, I get much better calls with a mouth reed and tube.  I really like the bugling bull mouth calls.

2 calls I carry. The raging bull and mellow yellow from bugling bulls. Also from a sponcer. Elk nut outdoors!!!!!!

Berry makes some good calls and I wouldn't hesitate to take them into the woods with me.

Glenn Berry's mouth reed calls are the only ones I use (the green one) on Rocky Mtn Bulls. I've called in & killed several Bulls w/ his calls. Sorry but I don't have a lot of experience trying them on Roosies to give a good reference.

Just so everyone knows, Berry Calls and Elknut are sponsors too. Berry, Phelps, and Elknut all have calls that many different hunters prefer. It's not a bad idea to have one of each if you can afford it and then you can find out which works best for you. It's been my experience that no call is best for everyone, you need to find what works best for you.

Short answer, no. 

I prefer Phelps and Elknuts, but as Dale said, you need to try them and see what works best for you.

I too like Elknuts calls, and Berry's.  both work.  I need to try Phelps as well.
