I ran over to Sportsman's Warehouse at lunch looking for .22 ammo and walked out with an AR 15

Del-Ton, I know it's not top-of-the-line for ARs, but it's my starter.

20 round boxes of .223 for $9 and 30 rd mags for $15 (plastic).

I'm in the club!.

Nothing wrong with a Del-ton--They're made by the guy that started one of the big AR companies (Bushmaster?) I forget which one. He sold the company and formed a new one. Not as well known, but just as well made...

I still hate shooting it because I know at some point I will need to replace it.

keep your eyes open and looking every where I am still able to pick up 10-20 boxes of brass cased ammo a week for 7-12$ a bpx of 20
