Could someone spare a elk shed?
« on: February 26, 2013, 09:04:43 PM »
So I just got engaged last week and me and my fiancé are looking to do a save the date picture and she wants to write it on a elk shed and have us hold it. I do not have any elk sheds so was wondering if someone would give or I could buy one from them. I'm looking for one in pretty good condition with some brown on it if possible. Doesn't have to be huge. Rag horn would work. Looking for one soon as possible so next 2 weeks. Thanks!

JUST an idea - but maybe if she were to use removable/washable paint for the date instead (not really sure what she had in mind to begin with), someone might be more willing to let you guys BORROW a shed for photography purposes?

I would if I had any  :sry: good luck! Post up a pic if you guys get them done :)

That sure is a pretty shed. For the price looks like a good way to go. Probably cutting it pretty close in wedding preperation terms. Get things like this done in a hurry and keep that fiance happy.

So do u think 80 for that shed iis insanely good price or bad price? At this point might just have to do that. Thanks for the replys and ideas. I think she would want to keep it after for sentimental purposes anyways.

I've got an older, decent sized  rag horn that you could brown up with shoe polish.

PM me if interested.

I'm in Auburn.

If you are still in need I will hook you up with a 5 pt. PM me and we can work out a pickup time on Sat.    I will be in Everett around 6 pm Saturday.
It's not as pretty as that 6 pt. in the picture though....but it is a good one.

$80 is pretty steep but it's something you and your fiance could keep if you wanted. Also, you're gonna have to be real lucky to borrow one that looks this nice. How excited will she be when you show up with an old 4 point raghorn?
