Made the call but talking to those two about anything that isn't liberal is like trying to keep the titanic afloat with a thimble

Unfortunately, they don't hear from enough of us for exactly that reason - we think we're beaten before we even call. Call anyway.

Senator Feinstein’s anti-gun bill: S.150 – Assault Weapons Ban of 2013 is moving forward; we need to take steps to stop it now.

Link to S.150 Bill Summary:
http://thomas.loc.gov/cgi-bin/bdquery/z?d113:SN00150:@@@L&summ2=m&

Please call your U.S. Senators; it only takes a couple of minutes.

Washington, D.C. offices - direct numbers for Washington State Senators:

Senator Murray:
Phone: (202) 224-2621
Toll Free: (866) 481-9186

Senator Cantwell:
T: (202) 224-3441

For Senators in other states, you may call the United States Capitol switchboard at:

(202) 224-3121.

A switchboard operator will connect you directly with the Senate office you request.

Or you can go to your Senator’s website to find their direct phone number.

Possible talking points, or just speak what’s on your mind:

[Your name and your city/state]

I am calling to ask that Senator [...] oppose Senator Feinstein's S.150 Assault Weapons Ban of 2013 and the barrage of other anti-gun bills that are flooding our legislative assemblies.  They are all attacks on our 2nd Amendment Rights to Keep and Bear Arms and they will do nothing to prevent criminals from carrying out their malevolent deeds.  These bills will only serve anti-gun agendas and diminish the Constitutional rights of law-abiding citizens.  Please vote NO on Senator Feinstein’s bill and all of the other blatantly anti-gun bills.

Thank you.

Just made my calls!    went right thru, could not talk to them but left messages, hope it will get to them.   I told them I was a registered voter, as my family members too, property owner and will be watching their record, and will vote accordingly when their time comes.

I'll call, and continue to send messages.  But, you must be kidding if you think it is going to switch either of these two senators minds.   Based on every response I've received from Cant"do"well and her buddy Murray, I'll bet that they are both sponsoring the Feinstein bill.   :bash: :bash: :bash:

Well, you did leave a message that isn't what he wanted to hear, after all! :bash:

I was treated very nice.  The lady and gentleman I spoke with asked what the phone call was regarding.  They listened and didn't say much.  Even when I asked questions.  I gave them my stance on the bill and they asked for my zip code and thanked me for calling.

I think I got the same guy, he seemed very annoyed, I wondered if he would even relay my message.
